What brings you to Cadis?
A look into your journey and your role within the team.
I’ve been with the company since 2010 and, while that may sound like a long time (and it probably is), it has never felt static. I’ve had the good fortune to explore a wide range of exciting roles here: project manager, consultant, leading the product marketing and consulting team, head of product management, and now head of support and delivery.
What makes this place special for me is the constant opportunity to learn, grow, and take on new responsibilities. It’s a company where curiosity is rewarded, challenges are embraced, and every role brings fresh experiences. For someone who enjoys learning and stepping into new arenas, it’s simply a great place to be.
What’s your professional background?

I began my career with a master’s degree in Electrical Engineering and Information Technology (back then still the “Dipl.-Ing.”), which I complemented with a year of Business Administration at the University of California, Los Angeles. Shortly after, I landed an internship at Schenker in New York—an experience that sparked my passion for logistics, one of the world’s largest, oldest, most intricate, and fascinating industries.
From there, I transferred to Schenker’s head office in Germany, where I spent six years delivering business and IT projects. “Implementing” in this context meant just about everything: purchasing and rolling out software, gathering and managing requirements, designing solutions, and even programming myself.
In 2010, I joined Kratzer Automation AG (the predecessor of CADIS GmbH). Since then, my journey has taken me through a variety of roles: project manager, senior consultant, team lead for Product Marketing and Presales, Head of Product Management, and now Head of Support and Delivery. Each step has offered opportunities to grow professionally and personally—whether by developing new skills, exploring unfamiliar domains, or taking on fresh challenges.
What drives you outside of work?
Your hobbies, passions or how you recharge your energy.
I’ve always enjoyed trying new things, often gravitating toward the less common ones. For example, my favorite holiday destination is Dartmoor, England—yes, partly for the food! During my university years, I also actively competed in ballroom dancing, and while I no longer compete, I still practice regularly to this day.
