end of loading

The driver or hall employee signals the end of loading with the end of loading. An authorised person then completes the loading, i.e. gives the approval for the next step.

ePOD – proof of delivery

The proof of delivery contains consignment information and delivery details. An electronic delivery receipt is generated in cadis. It contains consignment information and delivery details, the signature made on the mobile device or a photo of the signature made on paper. If no electronic signature is available, cadis notes this accordingly.

gross weight

The actual total weight of the loading unit including all loading equipment.

HFI (Hands-Free Imager)

Designation for an imager that is connected to the mobile device via Bluetooth and enables the (hall) employee to have both hands free while working. Hand-free imagers are also offered as pure ring imagers.

hub

It serves as a collection point and hub for the transshipment and consolidation of goods flows in all directions. In the postal system, hubs are often parcel centers. The means of transport for further conveyance vary (ships, airplanes, trucks).

loading completion

With the loading completion, the dispatcher approves the end of loading. In doing so, he finally completes the loading. The result of a loading completion is a roll ticket in local traffic and a bordero in long-distance traffic.
