Disponent

A Disponent is responsible for allocating and monitoring services and goods. He coordinates and monitors the tours for the vehicle fleet. At the same time, he collects information for billing and quality assurance of services rendered.
In contrast to the planner, a Disponent does not have the task of planning tours. In forwarding companies, however, the tasks of the Disponent and planner are often combined and referred to as the Disponent. This therefore leads to different delineations of a dispatcher’s area of responsibility in different companies.
