unloading report

The unloading report is, on the one hand, electronic information for the dispatcher and, on the other hand, written documentation of the unloading of vehicles in groupage transport. The latter is part of the carrier’s accompanying documents.

The unloading report is necessary so that the dispatcher knows in what condition and at what time the freight order was fulfilled. In addition, the dispatcher knows whether any measures are to be taken to notify the customer by means of subsequent delivery of goods that have been delivered too little or return transport of goods that have been delivered too much or are defective – which cannot be remedied.
