Know What Is Happening With Every Package. With One Scan.
InfoScan in Action
InfoScan gives logistics teams immediate access to shipment, package, status, location and handling information — directly at the point of operation. Scan the barcode, review the information, and take the next action, without leaving the process.
This session shows how InfoScan supports operational users working directly with packages and shipments, and how authorized users can update storage locations, document deviations and work with master pallets.
The Challenge: Operational Teams Need Answers at the Point of Work
Logistics teams need fast access to reliable information while working directly with packages and shipments.
- Operational teams often lack immediate access to shipment, package, location and handling information at the exact point where they are scanning or handling goods.
- Without a single, reliable source of information, teams lose time cross-checking systems or paperwork instead of acting directly on the package in front of them.
- Storage discrepancies and handling exceptions are not always documented in real time, creating gaps in the operational record.
How InfoScan Works
- Scan — Scan the package barcode using the available device, or enter the package number manually.
- Understand — Review the shipment, package, status, location and handling information.
- Act — Continue the process, update the storage location or document a deviation, depending on your permissions.
-
What InfoScan Covers
- Access information instantly — Scan a package barcode or enter the package number manually to retrieve the relevant shipment and package information.
- Compare planned and actual locations — See where a package should be stored and where it is currently located.
- Review the complete operational context — Access statuses, shipment history, positions, handling instructions, loading equipment and dangerous-goods information.
- Update information directly — Authorized users can update the actual storage location and document deviations without leaving the process.
- Work efficiently with master pallets — Review grouped packages, history and photos, and manage master-pallet activities from a dedicated view.
Standard and Advanced Access
InfoScan supports two permission levels, so each user only sees and does what their role requires:
- Standard access — Scan or enter a package number, view package and shipment information, review operational status, access storage-location information, and view shipment history and handling instructions.
- Advanced access — Everything in standard access, plus updating the actual storage location, selecting, entering or scanning a storage location, and documenting damage and other deviations.
The available actions depend on the configured permissions and product setup.
Who Should Watch
This session is for logistics managers, warehouse managers, terminal managers, operations managers and IT decision-makers who want their operational teams to move from searching for information to acting on it directly.
